Help for Teachers and Educators
Sent Ones: Educators from 100% Sent on Vimeo.
Cru has resources to help current and future teachers combine their passion for teenagers with a God-given mission. We can help educators navigate First Amendment rights as well as offer ideas for gathering high school and middle school students, and creativity with evangelism and discipleship opportunities.
Whether you are a classroom teacher, school counselor, or a college student working toward a degree in Education, let us assist in impacting your world for Christ.
Listed below are some opportunities and resources especially for education majors, teachers and educators:
Join the Education Majors Summer Mission (EMSM)
This 10-day summer mission (held in Estes Park, Colorado) is designed to help college students who are majoring in education to learn how to use a future position as a teacher to impact students for Christ. We’ll introduce you to Cru’s high school ministry, and equip you with some great resources. Through three days of workshops you’ll learn what is possible, what is legal, and what is realistic for ministry as a teacher. We’ll equip you to engage with teenagers effectively and give opportunities to disciple a group of students and facilitate ministry training with students as you staff the Rocky Mountain Getaway, Cru’s summer conference for high school students.
